We are having people over for dinner tonight. This is the first time in the two years we have been in our house that we have hosted dinner for anyone who is not a blood relative. Why is that? I tend to freak out a little bit. For example, tonight our guests are coming at 7 and I was ready at 6:30. To pass the time I've been washing the walls. If I had been ready 45 minutes early I probably would have slapped up a fresh coat of paint before they arrived.
They really need to get here soon so I can start drinking.

Dinner people are fun! I can't have people over to my place, because I still haven't unpacked about 10 or 12 boxes.
Well, that, and the layer of cat hair covering everything.

This is very sick and just between us- I actually keep a spare can of paint around and I clean the walls by repainting anything that looks dirty.

Hosting a dinner party would be fun for me except for the "dinner" part, because I? Don't really cook. And so, doing that would stress me out beyond belief.

After reading Mr. Cactus I don't think you had anything to worry about! Sounds like you had a great time...and should do that MORE often...only watch Pixel! LOL
What my friends always tell me, we come to see "you" not your "house"... I tend to be like you...I freak too! But I do have people over, it is fun to enjoy your home with others.
