Make that Ladies Who Lunch in their Jammies while watching Elmo Edition.
Mia woke up at 4:45 this morning and dedicated the entirety of the next 15 hours whining and crying. I think the molars are coming, and me without a gallon of vodka. I didn't manage to convince her to change out of her pajamas until 2:00, so this was lunch.
Yeah, that's the best I've got. It was a long day, people.

Sometimes... Zoe and I are both in pjs all day long... with no excuse but laziness. Whining and crying is a perfectly acceptable reason in my book.

Why, oh why, can't we all have yellow fuzzy Elmo chairs with rainbows on it? WHY?

As a friend once summarized regarding staying home with kids: "The days are long but the years are short". I hope tomorrow is better.

Man! I am jealous. This was a wrong day to read this post. Jay is up since 3 (THREE AM!!) for two nights in a row. And I have a heavy work schedule. I am half asleep, having coffee, and what am i doing reading blogs!!??!! Whiny days like this make me want to give up this non-rewarding full-time jig I do! Only if I could afford it! Btway, how do we find out if it is molars. I keep prodding in there at every whine i hear, but I do not see any signs of the molars. On the other hand, ever since he turned two, he has gone on a diet (both food and sleep diet, that is).
