Chris taught Mia to sing Jingle Bells, and the child will. Not. Stop. Until you turn a camera on her, of course.

(And oh yes, I am so reading all the comments on the name post below. In fact, when I tell you tomorrow what I am doing with them you are going to point and laugh and call be a big fat dork. Something for us all to look forward to, then.)

That is the sweetest thing! I love that she thinks the little girl on the camera is someone else! My daughter went through the same thing at that age! I don't know how you guys don't eat her up!
Good luck with the nine million baby names!!!

SMOOCH to you, MiaBean, Merry Christmas!

Allow me to guess what you're doing with the names: Putting them all in a big Excel spreadsheet so that you can analyze them down to the molecular level.
Mia has the most incandescent smile. She really is a gorgeous little girl.
(And I'm happy to hear that somebody else is completely hipped on "Jingle Bells;" I thought it was only Shadowboy who was insisting that it be sung constantly, including in the middle of the produce aisle.)

By far the best thing I've seen all day!!!

Ian won't stop making me play this video.
She is very popular around here.

May I squeeze? Now please?

PRECIOUS!
I can't wait to see what you are doing with the names. If we are all on the edge of our seats, does that make us bigger dorks than you claim to be? ;)

I'll be singing Jingle Bells and laughing for the rest of the day.
So - are you going to put all the names from the comments and draw one?

omg so cute. thank you so much for sharing her with us. :)

Awww! I love that she skips right to the "Hey!" part. It's the most fun anyway.

"that girl," too funny ;)

Okay between the sugar cookies I have been inhaling and this I am now in a diabetic coma! LOL! Really adorable.

Much like Sarah, we've been sitting here with Mia on repeat for a good 20 minutes now. Grace and Suki are enthralled, you should see the smiles you two put on these girls' faces.

Mia Bean, you really are too cool. Your mother should bottle you before you grow up.....

Thank you dear sweet Beth, for bringing a much needed smile to my face after the end of a very stressful day (we've attended two parties today with 3 & 2 yr olds).
While my two girls (3 & 21 mos) were screaming & fighting over a sheet of stickers, I opened the video. They stood here watching, quiet & captivated when they simultaneously both started singing right along with Mia! We've watched it twice so far and they want to watch it again.

Holy cuteness! You have voices! I don't know what I expected you two to sound like, but now I know. Cheek squeezes all around!
Posted by Sharri | December 17, 2007 8:22 PM
She looks soooo much like you and she's just such a sweetie.
I could eat her all up!

Awwww, that is just too cute! Why is it, though, that it is so difficult to capture their seemingly never-ending performances on video? My bear develops immediate interest in the camera and stops in her tracks as soon as I begin filming.
The tree looks great, btw....

Oh. My. God.
She is so freaking cute...

Priceless!!!!
Merry Christmas to you all!

Cuteness over load. How do you handle such cuteness? I'll be she's even cute when throwing a tantrum.
Posted by Nila | December 18, 2007 1:11 AM
Tell that girl to do it now.....hahahaha, your kid is too dam cute.

Send her over to our house! My 7 year old is constantly singing it IN FRENCH! (He's not a genius, they just did that for the Christmas Concert at school!)
Posted by Loth | December 18, 2007 5:31 AM
Note to Self: Make sure future workplace does not block all video.
Can't wait to watch later!
Posted by diane | December 18, 2007 9:00 AM
Can't watch while at work, but I am intrigued about what you plan to do with the baby names... Excel spreadsheet? Pie charts?
Posted by Stephanie | December 18, 2007 10:13 AM
I wish Daya was that cooperative.....
Cute!

They grow up waaaay too fast. Good thing you're having another! ;-)

All my preschool kids love the "HEY!" part of Jingle Bells, as well. Of course today, when it was time to sing, they just stood there and waved at their parents. :)
And Mia is just the cutest - love her telling "that girl" to sing, too!

"That girl." I freaking love it. She rocks.
Merry (belated) Christmas to you all.
