Mia playing with the children of our friends Ava and Jack. Yes, it is tragic that those lovely children were born without faces, but they are very brave and leading normal lives. (Or else, I simply neglected to obtain permission from their parents to put their kids on the internet, have a four second window to get this posted which does not allow time for requesting permission, and while I doubt they would mind I decided to go the faceless route, just to be safe.)

She is so adorable - and look at her loving getting her hair done already. You guys are going to have some fun girls days out.

The look on Mia's face in the 2nd pic? That's what I look like at the salon. I love having someone else wash my hair.

Oh that is so cute! You know all people coming to my home know that they or their children or dogs are subject to being fully exposed on Dackel Princess. Although come to think of it, perhaps I should just make places cards up with permission slips inside. Could save time in the long run! LOL!

I fondly remember those days!! Playing hair salon in my friends kitchen... thanks for bringing up such a great memory on an otherwise BAD HAIR day.

Poor kids.
Also (this is about the last post) you realize that by taunting us you are setting yourself up for a world of awakeness?

Awwww...how totally cute!
And also...I started reading your entry and the first things my eye went to were the kids with Mia and the names Ava and Jack and that is sooooo weird because my cousin's kids names are Ava and Jack and they are probably about the same ages as your friends kids...so I initially thought...OMG...Beth knows my cousin and her family in Seattle...hahahaha...and then I read further and realized they were made up...hahahaha...I'm still laughing over it!!!
