Most common thing said to me these days: "What are you feeding that kid?"
Just breastmilk, baby. Mama's got it going on.
Posted on April 16, 2008 2:41 PM
He looks so much like Mia in the 3rd and 4th picture!
alfredsmom | April 16, 2008 2:49 PM
wow, I am SO impressed by your boobage! you rock girl!
I'm growing a long one over here....no chubbies...but BOY is he long...already starting to outgrow is 3-6 month clothes...and he's 6 weeks old...yup, I've birthed a future NBA star...hurry up and get older so you can make Mamma some money!
wn | April 16, 2008 2:59 PM
I love the Buddha Belly in #2.
And clearly your breastmilk is world class.
Aimee Greeblemonkey | April 16, 2008 3:09 PM
We are convinced that I produced only heavy cream. My almost-2 year old was a total chubber and I miss those rolls!
Jenna | April 16, 2008 3:15 PM
Nothing wrong with a big healthy baby, but what a question. Duh! He's an infant! We serve him Fois Gras with a Pinot Noir 1985 on the side.
(is that even a good year for wine? I have no idea)
He really is a stunner though.
Procrastamom | April 16, 2008 3:18 PM
That's quite impressive, right there. In another time and place, you apparently would have made an awesome wet nurse.
And I totally giggled at Jenna's "heavy cream" comment.

Hm, it told me my comment didn't post the first time for some reason, but then it posted it anonymously? Weird.
Stephanie | April 16, 2008 3:30 PM
Oh my goodness gracious - he is TOO CUTE! And he is definitely eating well - go you!
Maggie | April 16, 2008 3:33 PM
Chub City! Love it. Great smile.
Brad | April 16, 2008 3:36 PM
Ooooo, ooo, baby you are some Mama Milk Machine! Owen will never be able to claim that you starved him!
Maribeth | April 16, 2008 3:42 PM
so cute... i've got a tall slender girl, myself. waistbands just don't work for us! i guess you're making whole, i'm making skim! i'm impressed that owen's rolling over so soon, too!
kati | April 16, 2008 3:47 PM
Mia was a big baby, too, right?
or did i just make that up?
ali | April 16, 2008 3:58 PM
The chubs are indeed cute, but the hair, seriously is killing me. I love it.
Rachel | April 16, 2008 4:05 PM
i love how in the next to last photo he looks so intent on grabbing the foot. it's like, 'hey! what is that? can i touch it? can i put it in my mouth? fun!'
pea | April 16, 2008 4:26 PM
Love the Buddha Belly :)
Jules | April 16, 2008 4:26 PM
Holy Cow! You produce nothing but cream. Clearly.
CP | April 16, 2008 4:34 PM
Must munch on those chubby baby hands and feet!!!
Liz | April 16, 2008 4:51 PM
Mmmmmm! Must munch on those chubby baby hands and feet!!!
Liz | April 16, 2008 4:52 PM
He is painfully adorable.
Leah | April 16, 2008 4:57 PM
how do I get on the list for boobs that effective? can you refer me? be a sponsor of some sort?
chatty cricket | April 16, 2008 5:06 PM
Does he have to wear adult diapers now? My gosh how cute are your kids!
I love how he has a pot belly that almost hangs over the waist of his diaper. Love it!
Anna | April 16, 2008 6:14 PM
These pictures remind me of my twins when they were at their chub-height. I got the same questions. We told them my breasts produced sweetened condensed milk.
ckirby50 | April 16, 2008 7:59 PM
omg,the starvation! your poor underfed child! jk! your kids are so cute. i told everybody that breastmilk was fun, but chocolate milk and choxie was funner, they just couldn't help themselves. got some weird looks for that. :)
tif RN | April 16, 2008 8:06 PM
Man! I would say I could send you some hand me down clothes but uh....my almost 2 year old is still in Owen's size! Great job Mama, way to lactate!!
Dooneybug | April 16, 2008 8:10 PM
I'm impressed. And I adore picture number four.
MommyTime | April 16, 2008 9:17 PM
my goodness he's massive!!! thighs like WHOA!!!
could totally still eat him whole though!
Averil | April 16, 2008 11:03 PM
Oh, he is SUCH a love!
jen | April 16, 2008 11:20 PM
Precious! Photos like these remind me why people talk about nibbling on babies.
Maria | April 17, 2008 4:06 AM
How can you not eat him! He is ADORABLE! (and HUGE)
Nadine | April 17, 2008 4:28 AM
Ah, someone else who is blessed with innate talent of lactation, the way some have an artistic or musical ability! My 3.5 month old second little girl is like Owen, all roly-poly, and I just love it!
The tendency to nearly take my kid's eyes out with sprinkler system milk at random? Not so much....
Kristin Theo | April 17, 2008 6:25 AM
I LOVE the second picture!!! That belly is wonderful...how do you keep from covering it with kisses 10 million times a day? Or maybe you don't!
Kris H. | April 17, 2008 8:11 AM
Sorry for the multiple posts...my computer is acting wonky today... :(
Kris H. | April 17, 2008 8:13 AM
Nom nom nom. I love how downright jolly he looks, like a little St. Nick.
Fraulein N | April 17, 2008 8:26 AM
Holy baby buddah!! He's so friggin cute. Baby rolls are the best.
autumn dahlia | April 17, 2008 9:57 AM
I love him! How adorable!
mymilabean | April 17, 2008 10:25 AM
Good night nurse, that child is cute. I want to chomp on the chubola baby thighs.
And Mia? Perfectly adorable as always.
Missie | April 17, 2008 11:11 AM
Wow! Maybe your new career can be as a wet nurse - pretty sure Owen's all the advertising you'd need ;)
He is so cute, and yeah, wow, huge! I love the third picture especially. What a beautiful smile. :)
Heather | April 17, 2008 9:39 PM
Glad Mia was on that last photo, or I would have been concerned that Owen had eaten her ;o) He's so adorable!!!
Kathie | April 18, 2008 3:53 AM
OMG! I want to eat him in one bite!! That baby is SOOOOO delicious!
zanie | April 18, 2008 11:32 AM
I just love your baby! It's fun to go through this phase with you albeit via the internet as it's such a sweet time. I am coming out of my own 'boring' phase where you are just focused on your family and am starting to look up old friends again...but I wouldn't trade that time.
Helen | April 18, 2008 8:28 PM
I am so stinking sleep deprived. I read the title and thought, "Is she saying she feeds him club soda? club sandwiches? takes him to clubs? that he looks like a club?" Then I re-read it. cHub. An H makes much more sense than an L there. lol
Also, he's so munchable. My 2nd had stick-uppy hair like that...lovelovelove :)
